1910 census image index not completely displayed
I've run into a problem using the index for the 1910 and 1920 censuses for Philadelphia, and I'm not sure if anyone is aware of it. Please let me know if there is a workaround.
As an example, If you view image 24 of "United States Census, 1910 Pennsylvania Philadelphia Philadelphia Ward 45 ED 1146", the index pane at the bottom of the page shows only a small number of people on the page. This happens on many, many pages. I've been encountering this frequently the last few months with both the 1910 and 1920 censuses for Philadelphia. I've not been able to find a workaround.

Other people (including me) have encountered incompletely-populated Image Index tabs; there are occasional posts in Community because of it, usually calling it incomplete indexing (when in fact the index is complete, it's just the tab that isn't).
I have no idea whether anybody who can fix it is aware, however.
The only workaround -- inadequate as it is -- is to search the specific film for the people on the page. If the name is particularly unreadable, you'll need to get creative in your searches. For example, I can't make out the surname on line 54, but I can tell that the given name is Mary, and that line 57 is her son Alfred, and he's age 27, so I searched the film for Alfred born in the 1880s with mother Mary, and found the household. The surname was indexed as Harris. (Given the total lack of similar records, I don't think that's right.)
