Problem with incorrect people being added to my line/s without any sources
Could there be an option for your algorithm to require a source in order to link an earlier generation which is in reality from a different branch of the tree and is linked incorrectly. I know others have complained and I can vouch for having spent many hours researching in order to verify whether my records are correct. The facility of viewing the famous people we are supposedly linked to is of little value when there are incorrect linkages.
FamilySearch is a wonderful resource and we as users are always grateful for the facility to be able to build and find and research. This incorrect linking is a serious problem and undermines the trust of users in FamilySearch.

There's a logistical chicken-and-egg problem with requiring sources: before a conclusion is added, there's no conclusion to attach a source to.
But even if you solve that, there's the "we're all only human" problem: many people react to requirements with whatever bare minimum they can get away with. I'm as guilty of this as anyone: in the death reason box that Source Linker's Add Person routine sometimes requires, my standard input is an exclamation mark.

Some of the IDs I examine have plenty of sources attached - but they don't necessarily refer to that individual. So adding sources is of no value if the user hasn't verified whether they apply to that person, or perhaps another of very similar identity.
Unfortunately it would be a very difficult job to create an algorithm that could also check whether an added source is the correct match for the ID concerned.
Some users even blatantly abuse the source attachment process by adding multiple sources of the same type. For example, I was just looking at a Sources section where two totally different 1911 census sources had been added - the user presumably thinking, "Well, at least one of them must be applicable"!
Too much emphasis is placed on attaching sources, as opposed to adding notes to indicate what research has led to vitals, and other inputs, being added to the profile.
