I am indexing marriage records from Namur. At the end of each record there are additional acts of birth and deaths listed referencing the individuals in the marriage record. Do I index those, as well?

Usually you do not index other events, unless the project instructions specifically say to do so.

It is always good to include the link to your batch, or the batch code, so you can get the best answer. I did download a batch to read the instructions. There is not special instruction for this project. So, only the marriage record would be indexed. The additional information will be found by the researcher when they see the image:

    • The completed index and links to digital images will be freely accessible online to the general public when the collection is published.
