What is the ID next to the birth/death dates?

I am wondering what the set of characters next to the birth and death date help with? I am looking at the family search for a possible relative and next to her birth and death dates is "LCVM-5FC." When I click on it I get a message that the ID was copied.

What is the ID used for? Can it help me find more information on this person?

Thank you!
