I do not know who this works .

I have a basic tree and my 2x Great Grandparents have been changed on my tree by someone else adding their son's death certificate.

The certificate was filled out with whom the daughter that was her Grandparents not their correct names.

I do I fix this? The mother is a brick wall as to what happened to her and the father I am still trying to locate more records this tree being wrong is a huge issue as now records are popping up for people that are not even close.

I do not have the time nor money to go thru the court system to get this changed on the death record

Thanks

Hi @adeana patterson The FamilySearch Family Tree is a single collaborative tree, designed to have one profile for each person who has ever lived. That means anyone who contributes can add or change connections and details.

The great thing is that you can contact the person who has made the connection. Just click on the username in the changelog, and you'll be able to send that person a private message to discuss your connection.

Because the tree is fully open-edit, you can also change/correct/add information.

If you need help handling any of that, you can ask for specific help here. There are also many help articles and recorded presentations with how-tos.
