How do I correct the typo I made when entering person ID GKFP-WZT where I typed 1855 for the birth instead of 1755. I have corrected in the details area but it has not updated the person heading.

    Hi Lynn

You did not select a standardised date when you made the edit. Edit the Birth again. You will see that 1855 is set as the standardised date. If you remove the period after Abt. and select the standardised date this will fix the problem.

Please see: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/143173/wrong-date#latest for an explanation of why seeing a different date in the header than you do in the Vitals section is a very nice feature of Family Tree, not a bug in the program.
