Ability to put images into notes
Right now, I'm trying to figure out who my great-grandfather was. Part of this is trying to figure out where my great-grandmother lived at the time. I have a photo of a map that has a outline of a certain number of acres in relation to a town (demonstrating how large 200 acres are). I'd like to put this within a note to show my current progress on this; but I am unable to do so.

You can put the image of the map in as a Memory Source.

You are correct the Notes features do not allow for including images. Another method to do what you would like is in Memories/Gallery> Documents (PDF files) or Stories - which could then be attached to the profiles' Memories tab - or as Aine mentions above attached as a Memory Source - or both.
You have options ... to save the image as an image file in Memories, include it in a document or include it in a Story. If you save it as an image file and create a Memory Source (as Aine mentioned) - you can then attach your Notes to that image source. You could save the image in a document and then reference that as a Memory Source or attached as a profile Memory. You could include the image in a Story you create and link to the profiles' Memories.
