Finding new relatives: entry Weidenheimer said, "We couldn’t find a meaning for this name." My uncle with this name said it means "willow home."

Since "Weide" is German for "willow" and "Heimer" (-heim) is a common place name suffix that typically means "home," as your uncle correctly noted, it can be interpreted as "one who comes from a place with willow trees", implying that one of your direct ancestors was most likely associated with the location characterised by willow trees. Alternatively, "Weide" can also mean "pasture," in which case the surname could be associated with a family or a person connected to a specific pasture. Hope this helps!
