Marriage Sources - Tag Source
The new person page has many great new features. It's great that we can "Tag Sources" to most every field. The following birth has 11 tagged sources out of 15 sources attached to him.
One of these 15 sources is his marriage in 1936. The marriage for Leroy and Mabel is not treated like other items on the Detail page, we cannot tag sources to it. If we click the edit (pencil across from the marriage date, we can add a source. We have to add a duplicate marriage source, even when it is already in attached to them.
When you click on the marriage record, there is a place to add a tag to the following "Vital Tags" (Name, Sex, Birth, Christening, Death, and Burial). Marriages are not in the Vital Section on the Detail page. Other Information Tags - add tag is not any help with marriages.
It feels like marriage source are not treated the same as other vital sources. As you continue to improve FamilySeach, that you would add the following:
Add marriage to the Vital Tags
Add Tag sources to Couple Relationship - Add Source
Make the look, feel, and function the same as others events, facts etc. on the detail page.
Keep up the great work. Your number one

You write:
"It feels like marriage source are not treated the same as other vital sources."
That's because they aren't. Relationships (both couple and parent-child) have a mostly-hidden setup currently, where -- as you write -- you have to add duplicates of any sources you want to use, and where the main tagging function can't reach at all.
Granted, given that relationships by definition involve more than one profile, they can't be treated exactly the same as conclusions in the Vitals and Other boxes, but it would be very nice if the relationship event tagging function offered everything from the sources lists from each of the profiles involved.
There's a recent thread in the New Person Page group on this exact topic: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/141654/sourcing-for-a-marriage-record#latest
