Why do I have duplicated persons with the same ID on the same record - one beneath the other and I cannot merge them. A single record instead of two is what Is normally shown. any answers please. I do not know how to contact anyone to rectify this.

@grahamnewellthomas1 That is what you see when a person has more than one spouse or when a person has one spouse and also children listed without a spouse entered.

Sometimes this is correct. Sometimes it is due to duplicate parent-child relationships.

If you are seeing both parents with children and then one parent and all the same children then the quickest way to fix this is to add a duplicate of the missing parent then merge the two duplicate parents.

@grahamnewellthomas1 can you attach a screenshot? The way you've described it - I'd have to guess that it's a duplicate parent with different children ID(s) or a duplicate child with possibly different parent ID(s)?
