Nathaniel Barnet Squire (L7J3-QVJ) was sealed to his parents in 2014, but the names are hidden. Can you see if they are the same as the current parents he is connected to?

    Hi @ Brea Mefford

Thank you for posting your question regarding the names that are hidden of the sealings done for Nathaniel Barnet Squire (L7J3-QVJ)

This notice is displayed next to the completed sealing ordinance.

The sealings are valid as outlined in the Knowledge Article below. In bold it is outlined that Church Policy allows a person to be sealed to more that one set of parents.

Why doesn't the sealing-to-parents ordinance list the parents?

On the ordinance screen for an individual, the Sealing to Parents ordinance date occasionally appears without showing the names of the parents. The most common reason for this is that the set of parents in Family Tree does not match the set of parents associated with the ordinance.

You can also see this when Family Tree cannot display the parents associated with the ordinance because of privacy rights.

The Sealing to Parents date represents a valid temple ordinance for the child. If an additional Sealing to Parents ordinance shows without a completed date, keep in mind that Church policy allows you to seal a person to more than one set of parents.

If another completed Sealing to Parents ordinance date shows, this also represents a valid temple ordinance. If you have further questions about sealing ordinances, please see your ecclesiastical leader.

Therefore, you may reserve these ordinances, and then you have 120 days to complete them.

You can also find answers to your questions by using our Help feature at the top of any FamilySearch screen by clicking the Help icon (the small circle with the question mark), then Help Centre. Enter a few key search terms to find and select knowledge articles appropriate to your question.

    Kind Regards

It looks like there is a duplicate version of the father:

    Charles C. Squire KCF3-KBJ

    Possible duplicate: Charles Squire L6SQ-MM9

If you merge the duplicates the SP should show correctly.
