The online "Parish registers of St. Thomas Charterhouse, Finsbury, England (England, Middlesex Parish Registers, 1539-1988," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-996G-GF6V?cc=3734475 : 23 June 2021), > image 1 of 1; London Metropolitan Archives, England.) images 17, 19, 24, 29, 31, 32, 34, 38, 42, 45, 48, 408, 409, 429, 430, 438, 460, 461, 469, 473, 474, 475, 480 are incorrectly indexed as St. Thomas, Virgin Islands! Image 436 is incorrectly indexed as St Thomas and St Dennis Parish, Charleston, South Carolina, United States! I did not check every image. There are likely many more indexing errors in this record.

@Mike357 or @N Tychonievich please. Another placename standardization issue, rather than an indexing issue. The removal of the word "original" really makes this issue more difficult.
@Clifton Laney, Thank you for reporting this problem. What appears as an indexing error, as you have reported, appears to be, rather, a placename standardization error. This sometimes occurs when place names are automatically standardized by a computer.
I will report this problem, and it will be added to the queue of other standardization errors that are being reviewed and fixed. Unfortunately, because of the backlog of these problems, it is impossible to suggest when the problem will be fixed.
@Áine Ní Donnghaile, thank you for highlighting this. I agree; the absence of the "Original" indicator does make it a little more difficult to identify these as standardization errors. But, this certainly appears to fit in all other respects.0
