Permission to do temple work for unrelated person

Re: Hajime Tokifuji, GV6M-HTS
One hundred years ago, my paternal grandfather helped a family immigrate to Davis County, UT, from Japan. Unfortunately, the father of this family was murdered on the voyage from Japan to Seattle. My father's family took this family in and the family worked on my grandfather's farm in Clearfield, UT.
Mrs. Tokifuji had two sons who grew up with my dad and his brothers. They were considered part of the Holt family. Hajime ("Harry") never married. He had no offspring. His mother and his only brother are deceased. Harry's brother had no children.
As a young boy, I would go fishing with Harry and my dad. Harry died in 1978. Four years after Harry died, I was called to serve a mission in Japan, where I grew to love the Japanese people. The connection my ancestors had with the Japanese immigrants was even more poignant after having my experience in Japan. For many years I have felt that I should seek to have Harry's temple work done. This was a way to continue my mission service to someone of Japanese ancestry.
There is no one to give permission to conduct temple work for Harry. I am inquiring about whether there is a way for me to be granted permission to conduct his temple work.
Thank you!

Hi @ johnwilliamholt1
Thank you for posting your question for Hajime Tokifuji, GV6M-HTS. You can access his person page and go to Ordinances where you will see that his ordinaces are ready to be done as he was born more than 110 years ago.
When you make the request he will be reserved in your Temple Reservations.
Thank you for being able to provide the Saving Ordinances for Harry and participating in this great work.
Kind Regards.
