    Very exciting and informative article. When I joined the Church is 1967 in Moses Lake, Washington submitting names to the temple was a long process. I would prepare a paper family group sheet, have it checked and initialed by two ward T&FHC and then mail it to SLC. Wthin a few weeks, it would be returned to me with information on the ordinances performed, dates, temple and the names of the proxies. Once a sheet showed that our stake president and his wife were proxies when the work was performed in the Cardston, Alberta, Canada Temple. Our closest temple at the time, only 500+ miles away. Now a temple is being built in Moses Lake. I know that the saints who live near that city a really excited, I look forward to exploring these new features.

    Where do you set the “Who can see your post” options?

    @Chas Howell

    On the top of the new signed in Home Page is a box "What would you want to share about your family?" When you click in the box, under your name, is a drop down for options on who can see your post. Hope this helps.

    I am disappointed that the new program no longer takes you to the ordinances a person has submitted when you click on thw name. Your new program takes you away from doing serious research but rather get better acquainted with living relatives which is beneficial if that is the goal. I am in my 97th year and an Accredited Genealogist. I find it most beneficial to encourage my many relatives to submit names for ordinances. They now submit names I research over 300 so they can be involved in doing the work for our ancestors. There is nothing wrong with your extensive program other than the time can be better spent. Just my humble experience of a person who has spent the last 23 years on her own ancestors rather than those of clients.

    @Ann Montgomery46

    Since Help Others only works with the Family Tree, you can access it at the top right corner of the website when you are on a Tree page or a Person page.

    I can not find what ordinances have been done for my family members there use to be a little square by their name showing what was done but that is gone. How do I find what ordinances have been done and what needs to be done?
