I am trying to reserve my cousins temple work and I have permission to do the work from one of their brothers (their parents passed away already and there are no children). So their brother gave me permission and his information (phone number and email) when I impute these information and click submit it send me the following message "Permission to request these ordinances is being reviewed". My question is how long it will take for this review because we are planning to do some temple work as a family next week and I would like to have the temple cards ready for that day.

The lengthy delay in this process is an impediment to family temple plans which have had to have coordination among various family members to arrange the date. An unexpected major delay is a big surprise when dealing with names where there is a member of the church who is one of the qualified sources of permission. We are talking about doing the work for an aunt. If Mom had simply wanted to do the work for her sister, would her request also be subject to review? Mom could have just requested it herself, but she is not able to come to the temple with us.

@johnkolak1 Your mother is welcome to request the ordinances for your aunt even if she cannot do them herself. She can share the card with you within a family group, via email, or in person depending on what is easier for her. Here are a few articles from the Help Center.
