Permission to do aunt's work - Barbara Sisson Rogers (LVQG-PG5) - requested 8 mos. ago

I submitted a request to have approval for her work to be done about 8 months ago. I've not heard a response.

I have contacted FS and was advised to "ask for a moderator to escalate his request to a specialty team to investigate."

Please contact me for specific personal details if needed.

I received two emails in the last 24 hours. One dated 1:17PM on Feb 1st says:

and the other dated 10:11AM on Feb 2nd (today) says:

Both of them take me to this screen which states I received an email telling me what I need to do.

Yet neither of them nor the numerous conversations I've had with no less than 5 personnel at FamilySearch i the past 24 hours have addressed the specific question. These kind people keep quoting handbooks and policies and procedures but none of them are addressing the question. I appreciate their kindness and their gentle responses but they might as well be telling me how to get around Chicago with a map of Detroit. Please understand I am not miffed nor negative at all about this. I'm simply asking for an answer to a question. If you are interested in talking to the highly frustrated parent who I am representing, then I will be pleased to give you her contact information so you can have a very pointed conversation with her as she has been doing with me for the past 4 months, and moreso in the past two weeks.

I'd appreciate a phone call from someone at FamilySearch with some authority and willingness to listen and make a clear determination of the situation caused by the change in policy at FS in the spring of last year which caused a "trapped" condition for my aunt's work without yet again quoting FS procedures.

I work at the Print building for the Church and am pleased to speak with anyone who can call me. I recommend the phone call take place next Monday as I am teaching class all day tomorrow.

    Blessings,

    Tony Strickland
