Viewing Certificates
When re-visiting certificatesI have viewed before, or when carrying out new searches, instead of the single certificate as previously, get a whole screenful of certificates, none of which will open. I have downloaded some certificates but a few of them are very faint and I wanted to look at them again on screen and continue to extend the family tree. Is there a limit as to how many certificates you can view on this site?

Suggest that you edit your question to put the text in the main body rather than the title as the question is currently cut off. I have rejected my answer to keep your question in the unanswered category.

It sounds like you're getting the thumbnail (multi-document) view instead of the individual document view. How you get to the individual document depends on which image viewer you're using. If it's the catalog's version (which is what most indexed records link to), just click the page button ("view single image") in the little four-button toolbar on the top left.
If you're using the "Images" viewer, such as for the 1950 U.S. Census, the "view single image" button is the rectangle-thingy at the bottom of the little toolbar. (Don't even ask me how often I've unintentionally gone fullscreen because of that switcharoo.) In this viewer, you can also just hit "enter" on your keyboard to switch from thumbnails to a single image.
