Something really going wrong with the FamilySearch "Family Tree."

I have spent the last 2 to 3 hours making a George Elia family in the "Family Tree"

I leave for about 15 minutes and when I return the whole George Elia family is NO where to be found. In fact the George Elia GZYL-7YZ is showing (Confidential Person - Person not found) - on top of it - checking the search log or "Latest Changes," none of this family is showing me compiling it. It shows my name, but does not show it being compiled and then torn apart.

Checking the "Resents" it shows George Elia GZYL-7YZ in a tree since it has the tree symbol.

I Have never seen this before.

In my "Resents" it is showing the following.

Thinking about it later, could this be because I showed he was born in Turkey or Türkiye?

He and his family lived in Fresno, Fresno County, California and he became Nationalized.

Thought I was really doing a good job in that I had it documented and all and had all the 10 children connected to the right mother. (Think I will take some time off again).

My guess is FamilySearch decided that there was a bit too much information for the living person adding the person in.

This is what I know of involving Confidential people:

In Family Tree, data administrators occasionally set a deceased person's record to confidential. The record then becomes visible only to the user who added it. In Family Tree, you can identify a confidential person because a banner appears near the top of the person page. The Vitals section shows whether the person is deceased or living.

Administrators mark records as confidential if the ability for the public to view the information could harm the contributor. We do not accept user requests to mark records as confidential.

Although I'm not seeing the banner, there is a chance that this is one of those confidential people now.

The best way to get this resolved is to contact FamilySearch Support. They can tell you at least on why the person was restricted.

I want an answer from FamilySearch why they are labeling George Elia GZYL-7YZ - ("Person not Found"), and tore apart this family, after I spent almost 3 hours working on it. - I think I deserve an answer! I also want to know why it is not showing in the "Change Log" myself building this family, and then FamilySearch tearing it apart.

Before I took my 15 minute brake, I used the source-linker to add the 1910 Census to the father & mother and all the children, so I know for a fact that this family was in-tack.

@donmthomas People born in certain countries (certainly Turkey and Syria, but others as well) are moved into a private space even if they are deceased and would otherwise be public. They are then treated much like living persons, who are visible only to the person who created them. From what you're saying, it sounds like this is what happened to you.

The particular challenge with deceased persons is that they are moved into the private space of the user who created the record, even if it was another user who made the change that led to them being moved into a private space. Thus from the perspective of that second user, the tree person simply seems to have disappeared. That can understandably be quite frustrating.
