Two images that should only be one entry...

Hi there! I am working on the US, Iowa—WWI Applications, 1923–1927 [Part B] [MQ3N-1YK] and had a question. There are two images in the set, but they are supposed to go together as the first and second page of an application. However, the indexing site is marking them as separate, so there are two different entries. I was wondering if there is a way to combine the images so there can be one entry and I can index them together? Thank you!

On the indexing screen, there are four icons to the right of where you enter the information to be indexed. The icons are a plus sign, a minus sign, a square with two squiggles in it, and a box divided in two by a dotted line. If you push on the box with the dotted line with your cursor, it will divide your screen in half, so you can see two images. This will allow you to see both records in the batch that you are working on, and you can enter the information from the second image onto the first image so that it is one record. I hope that this helps you in indexing this project.

In this project, you will use the State, County and Date from Image 2 on Image 1, then mark Image 2 as "No, No Extractable Data". The original document is one page, front and back, so there's no way to merge both sides to make one entry.

In order to mark the second page No, No Extractable Data at this point, you click on the tab over the entry form that says Step 2: Entries. Then click on Step 1: Images. It will let you change Image 2 to No, No Extractable Data. On the next batch you open, you just need to do that task in the beginning - (Should this image be indexed? No, No Extractable Data).
