How do I get ordinances to show up for a deceased member with lost records?

My uncle (G64X-H71) died in 2020 and family search shows he needs temple ordinances done, although he had them during his life. He was away from the church for a very long time so I have no idea where his records are. How do I resolve this?

The record maybe still sitting in a ward somewhere because he has been inactive for a long time and no one knew of his whereabout's, this is very common in all wards and when the member goes beyond the veil the record is still sitting in the Ward. Any Clerk can search this for you if this is the case.
