The family of Thomas Bennett and Ann Rigby from Leyland, Lancashire, England has been extensively sourced and temple work done for many years has been highjacked. The family is in disarray. We need help getting the family back together with the ordinances intact.

  1. Starting with Thomas Bennett (1780-1851) - LH22-SDJ - His wife, children and siblings are intact, but his parents have been changed. Currently it shows William Bennett (1734-1735) LH6W-HBK) and Elizabeth Norris as parents. The correct parents are Thomas Bennett and Ann Rigby. Ann Rigby is still in FS with her parents but not with a spouse. Her current PID is MVMH-46B. The PID for Thomas Bennett has been lost, but he was christened in Leyland, Lancashire, England on 30 April 1740. The marriage date on FS for William Bennett and Elizabeth Norris is the same date as the marriage of Thomas Bennett and Ann Rigby and the sources attached to William and Elizabeth all pertain to Thomas and Ann.
  2. To add to the confusion, Thomas Bennett (PID lost) is the son of a William Bennett (LZNJ-YWG) and Elizabeth Norris (LCFJ-FDB). In order to try to fix the problem, we created a Thomas Bennett and put him in the family, but soon discovered that wasn't the answer to the problem. His PID is GVQH-R5J.
  3. The temple work has been affected. The sealing to spouse performed in 14 December 1927 is actually for William Bennett and Elizabeth Shaples, which is another generation back. The sealing to parents date of 25 June 1954 involving William Bennett (1734-1735) is actually the sealing to parent date for Thomas Bennett.

Thanks for looking at this. We are at a loss.
