My great-grandfather has a second sealing to parent ordinance option for the same parents

My great-grandfather, Maurice Hartman [KWC5-GRR] was sealed to his parents on 6 February 1982 in the Salt Lake City Temple. However, FamilySearch, since April 2022, has been bringing up that he needs to be sealed again because "This sealing-to-parents ordinance is valid. The parents are not listed either because of privacy or because they do not match the parents listed in Family Tree."
I think that this is being brought up because of some merging that has happened in the past, however, I don't want to go back and trying to restore relationships. Could FamilySearch possibly restore the original sealing to parents information with the proper dates and parents without having the second sealing to parents ordinance showing?
(The only reason why my uncle is holding the sealing to parents reservation is so that no family members can try and do the sealing to parents again.)
Thanks,
Kenner Hartman
