Ordinances reserved since June 2022

January 15 in Temple

I shared the B&C of https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/ordinances/G8FG-PTZ with the temple September 2021, hoping that the B&C would be completed. The shared ordinances were reserved June 2022.

I would like to get her Initiatory and Endowment completed. I have contacted the person who reserved the ordinances via FS messaging (no email contact listed), but no response as to when the B&C will be completed.

Is there any other way I can get the B&C back so I can have the YW in my ward complete the B&C?

As you have found, you contact a moderator by posting here! All the groups have moderators to keep an eye on things. But since most of what gets posted here in this temple category need more than just an answer from whoever wanders by in that they generally need some type of action by someone with administrative authority, the moderators are particularly active and prompt to respond when needed.

Since you originally shared these they are 120-day (formerly 90 day) reservations for that other person. According to an updated help center article: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/expirations-for-ordinance-reservations-to-resume on January 31 expiration dates will start being enforced again. So in May, if I am calculating correctly 120 days from January 31, then the B&C should revert to your shared with temple list for you to retrieve and complete.

The person who reserved them will get an e-mail three weeks before the reservation expires so there is a chance that person will re-reserve them, but i would think that is going to be unlikely since nothing is getting done.

Thank you for the link to article. I had not seen the January 31 date to resume 120 day countdown.

I was hoping to get these ordinances completed by mid April as my family is taking family line names to temple on May 6 when we complete my non-member father's ordinances.

I just saw the notice this morning and the help center article is dated yesterday, so this was just announced.

Maybe a moderator can check and see if that other person is active on FamilySearch or even still alive and if not get these released for you.
