Sealing for My Wife's Father
My wife's parents were married for 33 years, but then divorced. Two years later, her father and a lady moved in together and although they never married (because of pension and tax considerations), they lived together as husband and wife for 38 years until her death in 2022. Her father is still alive at the age of 96. He refers to the lady he lived with so long as the love of his life. After his decease, can my wife have her father and his lady sealed? On a side note, my wife is the only member of her family, past or present, who is a member of the Church, and her only sibling, a brother, passed away in 2018.
