Permission to do ordinances

I'm helping a dear friend do the temple work for her deceased sister and brother. She is elderly and does not use the computer so cannot print the cards herself. Both siblings have been entered into FamilySearch and have been linked to each other and their parents. How can I print the cards on her behalf?

Hi Karen Welcome to FamilySearch Community and asking your question about helping to get cards printed. You can use the helper function to do this. This assumes that your friend has an account on Family Search where the ordinances are reserved and waiting printing. Here are links for using the helper function.

If your friend doesn't have an account on Family Search and the ordinances are not reserved, then you can help her create an account. Let us know if we can be of more help.

She has account but doesn't remember any of the log in details. Should I create a new account for her?

Or is there an easier way to show she has granted permission for me to print the cards?

Hi Karen - no do not create a new account, that will reallly complicate things. What you should do is together with your friend, call family search support at 1 866-406-1830. Your friend will need to be available on the phone and it would help to have her membership number.

You are welcome. Just to be clear, when you call, you will need to be able to help her log into her account.
