Have you tried creating a Family Group for your ward?

I was thinking that was for only families. Is there an article for a ward group

In my ward, our ward temple and family history leader has made a list of those with extra ordinances who would like help and a list of those who are interested in helping others with ordinances. Then he has shared the lists with each group and made available as well to the ward. So far, ward members are helping each other.

@Smyth MJ you can most definitely create a Family Group for your ward. I have been showing my bishopric and temple/family history leader how setting one up in the ward would help in so many ways.

Would you send me your sales pitch on getting the Bishop to approve it.

I have just pointed out that anyone in the group can share their reservations with the other group members. This would allow the youth to help with baptisms and confirmations when they have a planned temple trip. Ordinances Ready will pick up from Family Groups whenever anyone is looking for an ordinance to do. It also can bring people together as they are working together on behalf of those that have passed.

Be sure to have more that one admin in case that person moves out of the Ward or no longer wants to be involved. Also I believe the maximum number of members in a group is 100.

In our ward, each month a group temple appointment is made by the T&FH Leader. Then a sign-up paper is passed around through the classes each week, 2-3 weeks before the appointment. Each month, there is a different focus for the appointment. (The leader is low-tech, but paper sign-ups incourage people to commit when the clipboard is in their hand instead of having to remember to do it later on a device.)
The Bishopic announces the date a week or so beforehand each month & there is a wooden calendar on the wall of the chapel that is always updated.
The appointment information is put into the R.S. newsletter & it is also announced when the sign-up goes around in each of the organizations.
Our rotation is focused on B/C for the YM/YW, Endowments, & Sealings. A sign-up for the Sealings is sent around by the T&FH Leader. The YM/YW leaders handle the sign-up for the B/Cs. Ward members give names to those leaders for the youth to do. At the beginning of the month for Endowments, ward members are encouraged to make their own appointments & a set "Ward Temple Night" is mentioned. It is also encouraged to make an appt for a different time & date if the "Ward Night" doesn't work for them.
We have been doing this for a year now & the interested in attending the temple has increased. A year ago, there were enough youth to do 1 B/C session with few names provided by ward members. That increased to doing 2 hours. Then the last time they went, they did about 170 names, mostly provided by the ward members (according to what I was told.) We are about to sent a survey around to see if there is interest in scheduling B/C session for the adults in our ward; in addition to the youth date.
A year ago, we struggled to fill a sealing session. This month (Jan. 2023) there were so many people sign up, that we made 3 appointments.
It is encouraged, that "if you don't have your own family names, please join in the group sessions & help other's get their names done." And "if you don't know how to find your own family names, let's get together & I'll help you" announcements, pretty much every month.
At the beginning of 2022, or the end of 2021, we had a 5th Sunday lesson to show the ward members how to create an FS.org account, ect. We also gave out a list of fun activities for families. We also did that "find a relative nearby" with everyone's cell phones. This meeting set the tone for the year's temple attendance & also helping each other.
I think that we have created an atmosphere of helping each other. And we have seen, or heard of, ward members asking others if they could take a temple card for them; or offering someone to do a name.
And, also, we pray often for help & guidance on how to help the ward members.
No, I'm not the T&FH Leader. I'm one of the consultants in the ward.
