Gmail and linked Ancestral Calendar. How do I undo this action?!
My personal google calendar (Which is the same email as my Family Search account) and my ancestral calendar somehow got linked together, and I am trying to find a way to undo this action? Has anyone encountered this issue? I am getting calendar event updates about my ancestors funerals, birthdays, deaths, etc. almost everyday of the year 😅.
Thanks in advance!

I do not believe that this is connected with google calendar. It is likely linked to your notification settings in FamilySearch.
Click your name in the top right hand corner of the home page. Click Settings, Click Notifications. Then turn off notifications about my ancestors.
Hopefully that should stop the emails you do not want.

You can also check to see if you have subscribed to the calendar campaign: https://www.familysearch.org/campaign/calendar
Scroll down on this page and on the right hand side you should see something like this:
If you are subscribed here, you can unsubscribe.

So, I have my notifications all turned off as of about a week ago and I do not have the subscription to the calendar campaign turned on either. I am wondering if I had the email notifications turned on at one point and then I had a setting in my google email to automatically sync with apple calendar. So I may just need to delete some old notifications or find the setting in my phone to not automatically update my calendar with email notifications. Thank you for the help!

I have not subscribed to the calendar campaign yet I have still received a few notifications about calendar events. I suspect that I would have received a lot more had I subscribed to the campaign!
