As the title of this “question” suggests, someone on FamilySearch’s side who is able to merge Richard’s records needs to fix this problem.

Thanks,

I just merged the one profile that was showing as a duplicate. If there are others you can merge them yourself by selecting "merge by ID" at the side of his page and entering the number of the duplicate. All you have to do then is pick what information from each profile is kept in the combined page. Please make sure to verify that they are really the same individual first and not just two different people with the same name. If there are parents/children involved, they may need to be merged too.

I only turned to FamilySearch for this because President Howard W. Hunter (Richard's father) has a read-only record. Because of that, when I go to merge Richard's duplicate records it says that I can't because he has a family relationship with a read-only record.

    But thanks!
