Expanding descendency charts
Somebody showed, using actual screen shots, how to expand more generations on a descendancy chart by clicking on the sideways arrows. It looked very useful and I was pretty excited. Unfortunately, my descendancy charts don't have sideways arrows. Possibly this is a limitation with the recently updated version of familysearch. Is there some other way to expand to more than 4 generations? Thank you.

If the person has no descendants entered in the Tree, then there's no arrow. For example, if I check my spouse's great-something-grandparent's descendancy and look at the section I've worked on (great-grandfather and siblings), seven out of ten names have sideways arrows. If I look at a different section of the same exact descendancy chart, I can find ten people who are all fully expanded at four generations and thus have no sideways arrows.

@Rusty Rail Miller In the Old or New Pedigree Landscape view - you can indeed expand descendants of a person beyond 4 generations - while in Descendancy view you are indeed initially limited to 4 generations - you can expand any available side arrows:
Availability of the side arrows is dependent on research/entering in of those descendants and possibly how far back you are selecting the Home/initial person for which you are viewing descendants. Nearer generations to Living Descendants will only show those living you have entered in your Private Living Space.
