Why was the print type changed on family name cards?

My wife and I do sealings almost every week. For the past 5 weeks I have asked the sealer what his preference was when shown name cards with the new new print type and the old print type. One of the sealers said it did not matter to him. All 4 of the other sealers said they liked the print on the old cards better. One sealer went into more detail, saying "The new print is smaller and harder to read, especially on long names."
I also find the print on the new cards much harder to read. I am very near sighted. So for me the bold print on the old traditional name cards is much easier to read then the thin print on the new cards.
Why was the print type changed?
Can FamilySearch Please revert back to the BOLD print type that was used on the old name cards?
