Permission to do ordinances

I am a friend of Thomas Charles Leblanc (KWFC-4C6), deceased. I was his home teacher before he died. He told me he wanted to complete his ordinances and be sealed to his recently deceased wife, Peggy. Unfortunatley he wasn't able to do this because he wasn't able to quit smoking before he died. I see this as his last request to me and recently contacted his son, Travis Mitchell Leblanc, who gave me permission to do his father's ordinances. Subsequently, I understand Travis and his grandmother, Jean Herget, sent an email to our Ward Temple and Family History Consultant, Greg Ross, requesting that Tom's ordinance be done. Thus I am requesting permission to perform the ordinances for Tom.

@jamesroberthorne1, you can start the process by following the guidelines in help article 926, Can I request proxy temple ordinances for a friend?
An easier way would be to have his son reserve the ordinances and print out the family card for you.

Thank you for your rapiud reply! His son does not have a temple recommend. I believe this prevents him from reserving ordinances.

You can still go the Friend route as outlined in the article.
But to your other question, all you need is a FamilySearch Church account to reserve a name. In other words, just a membership number is needed to get a familysearch Church account, no current recommend needed. To set up a New account have him go to FamilySearch.org, click Sign-in, and follow the instructions. He will answer he is a Church member and enter his membership number in. Any of your local Temple & Family History Consultants should be able to assist.
If he already has an account better yet, just use the same username and password he already has.
Of course he would need a recommend if he wanted to perform the ordinance himself but none is required to reserve an ordinance and print the card.
