Lena Marie Louise Vezeau (KLBR-6JP) was baptized and confirmed, while yet living, in June of 2009. She passed away in 2018, but not before she had her husband and a friend promise to do her temple work for her. The initiatory work was done in April of 2022. And then the husband died (of course, he was the closest living relative at that time). The friend would like to continue to do her temple work, since he had the verbal permission of both the wife before she died and the husband before he died. Is this possible?

I am requesting information on behalf of the friend. He asked me if anything could be done. Please contact me and provide a response so that I can pass along the policy decision to him.

Thank you. Paul Arsenault (Temple President, Montreal Quebec Temple)
