Wait time for temple ordinance

I'm a family history consultant, I was asked by a member about a possible change on the wait time for a family member who recently pass away. What is the amount of time you are required to wait after death in order to do work for a family member?

Thank you for contacting FamilySearch Community. In order to perform an ordinance for the deceased, the wait time has been changed to 30 days.

Is that 30 days across the board, or only for the immediate family?

"The 30-day waiting period for temple ordinances applies to all recently deceased people. Further, please follow Church policy when performing temple ordinances for someone who was born in the last 110 years."
