Highlight my ancestors
When I go back several generations, I lose track of my line and then don't know the way back. Or, if I select an individual ancestor and show his/her tree, I do not know the path through his/her descendants down to me. Please highlight my line so I can see the path back to myself.

Highlighting your relation path might not be a bad Idea ...
When selecting that person's Tree view - you are correct - the person card does not have the View Relationship option which could resolve the issue without having to open that person page.
Until such a feature is available within Tree views - there might be some workarounds/process to help you find your way back:
A. Change the tree view to Fan Chart - this allows you to see more generations than Landscape.
Click Home person icon (Typically you). This will change the tree view to your tree and hopefully then - seeing more generations - you can find your way back to the other person.
B. Open that person's page - on any person page you can indeed View Relationship to see your relationship path (within 15 generations):
C. Use the Recents menu to view a list of any person pages you have recently opened
D. Change the tree view to Descendancy and expand all descendancy lines until you find yourself (or recognize names)
So if the person is within 15 generations - plenty to loose your relationship path - the easiest current option is probably B or C - open that person page and click on View Relationship.
