I have a problem I am not sure how to solve because it is two different people under the same ID. The two names are Lynnia Lucille Ingram Fox and Lucille Anna Ingram (Champ). G7Q5-W9Y

I started adding information on Lucille Anna Ingram (Champ) when I noticed the Fox aspect. I knew Lucille and she was buried a Champ, not Fox. Lucille was first married to Hunt, divorced and then Champ. There was no Fox marriage for her.

I would appreciate any help you can give me fixing this. Thank you, Pam Jesperson

@Pamela J. Jesperson I'm looking at G7Q5-W9Y right now. Have you communicated with the other user who is also currently working on that profile? It seems she has also made a number of changes today.

It looks like the problem may have started when you merged the two individuals. The two women were already confused by changes made by another user in July 2022. But, the merge wiped out Lucille Champ (the profile you created.) Lucille Champ could have already have a profile though with the standard being her maiden name for the creation of a record.

Anyway, Lucille Champ was GXYF-MG5. The merge deleted her profile. You probably just need to restore her original profile (GXYF-MG5) and then add the correct information to her file. It was added to Lynnia Lucille (G7Q5-W9Y) which it appears the other user is correcting through deletion.

I always like to look through the file before performing a merge and usually keep the one that was originally created; especially when they have alot of sources already attached. Merges are often difficult.

Thank you very much for the excellent information. I am in communication with the other user. We are communicating back and forth to try to solve the puzzle. Your suggestions are very useful and I will now get to work and restore Lucille. Thank you. Pam
