If a child is born to a mother with no father listed, and dies 1 year before the mother married a husband and has more children, how do I seal the child to the mother? Or do I leave him unsealed?

I think in this case I would seal the child to the mother’s parents. I would keep the mother-child relationship. Then add the child to the grandparents and mark their “Parent-Child Relationship Type” as ‘Guardianship”. I would leave both child-parent relationships showing. I think this is the clearest way of showing what has been done. Add whatever notes to help explain the situation as necessary.
