Help Finding Family Tree Record for a Deceased Member
Selma Henriksen, born 12 June 1904 most likely in Haugesund, Norway appears to have been a member of the church for the first 15 years of her life. She died 8 September 1993 as shown by her gravestone: https://slektogdata.no/gravminner/grav/34aa8be4-d07e-447d-b36f-ba71ee6aa331
Her birth was not recorded in the Norwegian parish records until 1919 when she was baptized in the Norwegian Lutheran Church, which was very unusual for the time. This suggests that her parents never had her christened in that church as an infant.
Her father, Carl Andreas Henriksen (12 March 1864 – 7 July 1939) MR74-ZRB as shown on his Family Tree ordinance page has a baptismal record of 31 October 1904. His marriage record, however, states he was never christening in the Norwegian Lutheran church and he does not have a birth record in the parish records around 1864 for the parish in which census records always say he was born in. Family records suggest that his parents were members of the church from Sweden.
This all suggests that Selma should have a Family Tree record showing a baptism sometime in 1912 or later that would never have had a death date added to it and so may still be private in Family Tree.
Could this information be checked and if there is a record for her, can her death date please be added to that record so that it can be located in Family Tree and connected to her family?
Thank you for your assistence in this matter.
