I found a significant error in the 1940 Census entry for Edvigi Bedinelli (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K4KD-1XB) . The enumerator listed her as male rather than female, probably because she was the head of household at that point. Plenty of other documents (including earlier censuses) indicate that she is female, the wife of Eleuterio Bedinelli (see file for Edvige Rocchegiani GN4T-8PV). Is there any way to indicate this error in the indexed 1940 Census record?

@NCT Harward Sorry so long to respond. Although this Census allows edits unfortunately gender is not one of those fields. When you follow the link to the person page with that record there is a button for EDIT and the only fields available to change are Name, Event, and Place. When attaching the record include the correction in the reason for attaching. Another place to put a note would be in Collaborate in Notes.
Since the other sources show she's female, the note will explain the error. Hope this helps.
