@GardnerBetteAnn1. do you remember how long ago it was that you first noticed the "printed" status? Also you are now posted in the correct place, a moderator should soon be able to help you further. I agree, the Temple Category is out-of-sight down on the bottom.
The Sealing to Spouse ordinance for Caroline Coleman LRYD-XJ3 and William Hammer Lear LVMX-FFS is now available to be requested.
@GardnerBetteAnn1, look at the last line of the image you posted. You will see that the temple has already "Printed" the card and should be completed shortly. Once the card is printed at the temple it cannot be unreserved.
As suggested, you should post questions/comment re Temples to the Temple Category at https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple
This ordinance was reserved and shared with the temple on 27 February 2009. It was printed but it doesn't say when. As it doesn't show as completed, it is reasonable to believe it was lost or destroyed. It has been 13 years. The last time I found such a problem I called the Salt Lake Family Search number. Is that the best way to have this kind of problem sorted out? Other family members are performing the ordinances for the children. It won't be too long until the parents need to be sealed so the children can be sealed to them.
I tried to find someplace to leave feedback about how intimidated and overwhelmed I feel using the "community" feature for help. For me, the menus are confusing and most of the time I have no idea which place to post what question. The last thing I noticed that I think I can use is making an online appointment for help. Everything else sends me in circles. so suggesting I change where I send things -
This is what I tried to do. When I went to the right-hand bar of the long list of "categories", the first choice at the top of it is "Ask a Question". That's how I ended up posting this where I did. The direction that I should post questions/comment re Temples to the Temple Category at https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple - was not part of the "Ask a Question" or instructions. It would have been very helpful if when I selected Ask a Question a dropdown menu would have the categories. Then after selecting one, there would be some kind of help completing a post in the best way to get the best help.
I'm sure many people are able to benefit from the "community" groups, but for me, it's just too complicated. If there's a place for feedback please send my comments there since I can't find it.
@Chas Howell I only noticed the problem a few days ago. I had the opportunity to examine Caroline Coleman's family when an error showed up with her children and her husband's second wife. I didn't know he had a second wife. Then, I saw Caroline's children mixed with Alvira Newton's children. After reviewing sources and moving the children around, I noticed that the reservations for temple work were already in progress and that Caroline's sealing was not available for reservation.
Now, I'll reserve Caroline's sealing to spouse, contact the cousins who are doing the other work, see if they want me to send it to them, or I will have it done. I know we're now supposed to do ordinances in order - so I'll have to follow up to see when it can be done.
There are a lot of experienced, talented genealogists working on my ancestry lines going back through records and history that are doing excellent work that I can't really do. But I spend a great deal of time reviewing and researching descendancy lines - particularly the late 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. We were counseled to do this years ago, I call it, finding my Cousins of cousins of cousins.
I found another cousin whose work was also "frozen" in 2009 with the same problem. He's now reserved for work. He needs all of his ordinances. I feel great joy as I find and fix, explore, attach sources, and prepare my cousins to have the blessings of walking on the covenant path.
@Kerijy It was a sweet joy to read your note this morning! Thank you.
