Searching by specific birthdate
Hello, brand new here. How do we search by exact birthdate as opposed to just birth year? I was searching for Sven Nelson on here last week and found his information. Now, no matter what I type in, I can't seem to locate that same spot.
Born December 22nd, 1851 in Sweden
Found him in the North Dakota census at one point and had two daughters. He immigrated around the late 1870's. Born as Sven Magnus Nilsson. Thanks!

True. However, if the profile has the exact date and the date and place are in standard form, that seems to improve the hints.

Thanks! I've even noticed that searching by year doesn't work too well. I put range "1851 to 1851" and it still gives me a bunch of listings for people not born in 1851. I'm gonna keep searching to see if I can find that guy's specific page again.

Are you looking in Family Tree, or in Historical Records? I see a lot of historical records for Sven/Swen Neilson/Nilson etc in North Dakota, that are not attached to a profile on Family Tree.

I tried both to no avail. I did find his immigration note when he came to New York in 1879. I know he applied for citizenship around the early 1880's in North Dakota. Then, last week while browsing on here saw his family. Wish I had snapped a photo or saved the page. I've typed in every possible combination and can't seem to find it again. One daughter had a very strange name that started with the letter A.
