Issues transferring info from FS to Ancestry

For the past couple of weeks I've had issues transferring info to Ancestry. I've contacted them and they are telling me that FS has made recent updates and this is causing the problems I'm having. I personally think this is an Ancestry issue but maybe someone can help here. The person I contacted at FS was not aware of this issue.

  1. When I transfer a child over to Ancestry it does not connect he/she to both parents. Only one, even though both parents are in FS and Ancestry trees. It places it under one parent and then I have to go in to edit the relationship (on Ancestry) to fix it by adding the other parent.
  2. Sometimes (not always) when I'm transferring a child over to Ancestry, it will put the mother in the father's place or the father in the mother's place. And then I have to correct it (another step). I believe Ancestry has eliminated a step to the process I normally followed. I would get a little pop up and it would ask if I wanted this child attached to the parents listed or another set of parents. That step is no longer an optione and that's why I have to add another step to edit the relationship. Pretty frustrating when adding a lot of children! Please see photos from Ancestry Thank you!

    Hello

    May I suggest you email FamilySearch Support at eu_support@familysearch.org and ask to engage in a one-on-one call from a Support Missionary?

    I suggest this, so that you can share your screen with the Support Missionary and demonstrate to him or her, just what is happening when you go through the routine of connecting Ancestry with FamilySearch. Support will be very grateful to be able to document what is happening and from this hopefully offer a resolution.

    Thank you! I actually had a google chat visit scheduled with a person at FS but it wasn't working on their end for me to share my screen. We were only able to communicate over the phone. The missionary suggested this route (community groups) instead but I should try the other option again.
