Beginning Projects for Children

I am helping several of my grandchildren with learning how to index. It seems there are few beginning projects for them. When beginning projects do pop up, they are quickly done by other indexers (or a computer?) Could you set aside a certain number of beginning projects specifically for children to learn on?
