Request to perform ordinances for a man unrelated to me

Hi there,

I have an unusual request. I would like to ask permission to reserve temple ordinances for a man that I'm unrelated to:

Dina Sanichar G8NC-LQN

I recently researched the life of Dina Sanichar. I was very touched with his remarkable life. If you are unfamiliar with his story, Dina was found by a party of hunters in 1867. He was living in a cave with a pack of wolves. He was taken to an orphanage where he was nurtured by missionaries until his untimely death in 1895. Dina was the inspiration for Mowgli in Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book.

No one knows where Dina came from. His parents were never identified. Dina never learned to speak. He never married. He never had children.

This young man died without a family. If the rules of ordinance work are strictly followed, his temple work will never get done. He is technically a famous person (although I can't imagine anyone will be upset if his work is done). No one will be able to claim him as family and do his work.

The Family Tree app will allow me to reserve his ordinance work without any technical problems. But doing so would violate the terms and conditions of reservation. I want to follow the rules.

I feel like this young man suffered enough in life. I'd love to offer the saving ordinances to him if I can.

Please let me know if there is a way I can reserve his work and get these ordinances done.

Thank you very kindly,

Caleb Harris
