There are two FS Blog pages with different content, Why?

I have a question about why there are two FS Blog pages with different content.

Under Helper Resources, there is What’s New at FamilySearch - https://www.familysearch.org/en/blog/tag/about-familysearch/whats-new-at-familysearch that displays the New Free Historical Records links.

The Blog link a the bottom of the page - https://www.familysearch.org/en/blog/ shows the same New Free Historical Records links, plus additional content.

Both pages show FamilySearch Blog at the top, which is a link to the second link above.

I'm very curious why FS maintains two very similar pages.

Thanks, Travis

There is actually just one set of blog pages. If you go to the second, shorter link you come to the full blog. Notice that at the top there is a link Categories. Clicking there, you can filter the content of of the blog:

The second choice is "What's New At FamilySearch." Clicking there brings to articles about what is new, that is, the first link you posted, which is what the Helper Resources says it is directing you to.
