Permission to do ordinances

I would like to do temple work for my adopted Grandmother Marjorie Mather. She was a close family friend for over 25 years. She passed on the eve of her 92nd Birthday on 10/7/2020. She has one living sister and brother-in-law who are advanced in years in Oregon. (Shirley and Bruce Wayland) I spoke with her on 10/12/2022 and she gave me her wholehearted blessing. Marjorie has been on my mind lately, and I know that she is ready to accept the gospel and be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. During my conversion and after becoming a member of the Church (I'm a 4-year member) we met several times a week and discussed scripture and Gods plan for us. My husband and I also happily shopped for her groceries and did repairs around her little home that she and her husband moved into in the 50s. He had long passed, and as you can imagine, the mechanicals needed some upkeep. She was a devout Methodist and she was organist at both University Heights EUB (now UMI) Church and St. Andrews, now Cornerstone UMI) in Albuquerque until age 90. Actually, she started playing organ for her church in IA in her early teens. She was a really talented musician. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you! Laurelle Powers
