These appear to be adoptions. No Ex Data? or Births?

    They are Baptisms - Doop-Plaat means Baptism-Christened Place. Another batch has written - Waar Gedoopt (Where Baptized or Christened) I loaded 2 batches the other indexer thought they were Church Membership names. On with the repairs.

    Aangenomen = Adopted. Does that mean adopted into that Church. In the other batch it has ages of the people. The ages listed indicates these are NOT Baptisms. I am confused. They must be Church Membership names. Batch {M3DT-3WV}

    I agree that these are confusing, but even though the word "Gedoopt" is on the record, I think these are membership records.

    I will take your word for it since most of them I have reviewed were indexed as membership records. I found an answer someone gave a while ago that agreed with me to index them as Baptisms. Very confusing. Since there are 2 dates listed I will have the second date as the event day. Just like they do in the example.
