A batch is missing a page. Is reporting it the best way to handle this issue while indexing?
US, Texas, Grimes County—Deed Records, 1869–1917[MSY2-ZGP]
This batch is missing page 353.
The indexer used the recorded date from page 354, which makes sense, 352 has the same recorded date, if the dates from page to page are in order.
I will go ahead and submit the batch, so I can continue indexing.
Please look into it if necessary.
Is this the best way to handle this issue while indexing?

Was this an open ledger with two pages on the image? Sometimes in that case only one page of the open ledger has a page number, so if you look at the previous and next images the numbers will go every other one (because only one side has a number). It's hard to know exactly what you're talking about without actually seeing your image. Please next time leave the batch open for a while so others can pull it up and see it. Did you know that you don't have to submit a batch in order to work on a new one? Just click the back arrow in the program and your current batch will stay in your queue to pull up later and submit. Then you can open a new batch to index. Even if you've closed your batch, as long as it's in your queue on your indexing page others can pull up your batch.

I checked the next pages, each page was separate & they were numbered at the top of each, but there was no 353.
I could see where 3 binder holes were punched out on the sides of each page and 354 had holes on the same side as 352, while 351 had holes on the opposite side. 353 was not displayed.
I had no idea we could leave a batch open. That's great to know. Thank you for explaining that.

I just looked at the batch. It is a one page each, 4 image batch. Page numbers are 349 thru 352. Very hard to read script.
