Do I include punctuation on a mortage or mortgagee such as: New York Savgs and Loan Assoc The batch shows: New York Savgs. and Loan Assoc. All I see on the bullet point is to type it as shown. Does that mean punctuation too?

If punctuation is included in the entry as it is in New York Savgs. and Loan Assoc., you index it.

Yes, and the reviewer will have to put punctuation on two that I've submitted. I should have asked the question sooner! I appreciate the help I get from 'your community'!

I thought punctuation was needed only if it was part of the name--like Johnson-Johnson or O'Hara--and all others were not necessary?
