Removing incorrect statements
We often talk about the usefulness of the changelog – everything that has happened in a profile is detailed right there, forever.
Now – what do we do when there are hurtful and wrong comments in that changelog forever?
Another researcher had attached my research subject as the putative father of a child with the statement
Per DNA evidence of one of Claude’s great grandsons, done on FTDNA & Ancestry, [my research subject] is Claude's biological father. No information is known as to HOW this came to be but r a p e is thought to be a possibility.

The issue – the putative father died 10 years before that child, Claude, was conceived. After much back and forth, the other researcher has finally accepted the proof that my research subject cannot be the father. That researcher is now leaving comments on Ancestry trees telling people he cannot be the father. Great. Spread the word in hopes of correcting more trees.
But that hurtful and wrong comment is still showing in the changelog.
Has anyone had success in having such a comment removed from the changelog?
