Hallo, dears.

Would you be so kind to tell if there is an option to check recently added scans of metrical books of certain city?

I have found a lot of books scanned in my city, but many years are missed.

I have checked State archive web of my country. It is turned out that years I need was scanned by Familysearch. But, where can I find it? As on general page of my city on FS I can't see these documents.

Thank you!

@Anna1,816 , if you could provide provide the city and country, we might be able to assist you.

Probably the best way to look for recently added/scanned records is likely by using the option to Search Images ( an option in the drop-down menu: Search.) You can search for the exact place, or you might choose to View the most recently added images, adding a place name to limit your search to the most recent images for your locale of interest.

Metrical books (also known as vital records) are generally birth, marriage, and death registers kept by the Church. These are most often found as microfilmed, or digitized, records in the Catalog.

Dear Anna, If you go to the main landing page, go to search, then books, the slider on the top right will take you to advanced search, put in your book details. If you cannot find what you are looking for: as not all books have been scanned please use our free look-up service from Salt Lake. Please see the URL below.

    Ho@Anna1,816 ,

As already said by @Mike357 you can access all the images related to the place you are interested to here https://www.familysearch.org/records/images/beta otherwise you can try to look up directly into the already indexed documents here https://www.familysearch.org/search/ .

    I hope this can help!
